The Driver position plays a crucial role in ensuring the timely and safe transportation of goods and passengers within our organization. Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods, materials, or passengers to designated locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery logs.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of passengers and cargo.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
  • Assist with loading and unloading cargo as required, ensuring proper handling of goods.
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance and report any mechanical issues to management.
  • Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients and the public during transportation duties.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications in transportation-related fields is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience.
  • Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.
  • Ability to navigate using GPS and map-reading skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina and strength to handle loading and unloading tasks.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with hazardous materials transportation.
  • Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance.
  • First aid and CPR certification.
